Age requirements:

You must be a minimum of 18 years old to skydive at all Paragon skydive locations. A valid government issued photo ID must be shown at time of check-in or you will not be allowed to skydive and you will be charged the no-show fee.

There is no maximum age for skydiving however you must meet the minimum health requirements set out in our waiver documentation. Minimum health requirements can be provided on request by contacting Paragon Skydive.

We recommend people over 70 seek the advice of a medical professional, prior to booking a skydive, to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Medical conditions, disabilities and medication:

You are required to inform the skydiving staff if you have a medical condition, are taking prescription medication or have any disabilities that may impair your ability to skydive or capacity to understand our waiver.

If you do have a medical condition, disability or are taking prescription medication that that could impact your ability to skydive or capacity to understand our waiver we recommend you seek medical advice.

In some cases Paragon Skydive may require you to seek medical advice and supply written notification to our staff stating that you have been assessed by a medical professional and are capable to complete the skydive safely.

You will be required to sign Paragon Skydives waiver documentation at time of check-in. By signing the documentation at check in you acknowledge that you have no medical issues that will affect you during your skydive.

Note: Paragon Skydive and its staff are not qualified to provide a medical opinion to confirm you are healthy to skydive. However Paragon Skydive reserves the right to refuse anybody service if it is suspected you have a physical or health condition that will make it unsafe or not possible for you to skydive.

Note: For safety purposes prosthesis cannot be worn during the skydive itself. Our staff will be able to provide any necessary and discreet assistance required. Please contact us at info@paragon-skydive.com for any special requirements.

Pregnancy:

It is Paragon Skydives policy that we do not allow pregnant woman to skydive for safety reasons. If you suspect you are pregnant we suggest you seek medical confirmation before skydiving. If you become pregnant between the time of your booking and the day of your skydive we will cancel or reschedule your booking at no charge upon presentation of written confirmation of your pregnancy from a medical practitioner.

Alcohol and recreational drugs:

No alcohol or recreational drugs are to be consumed at least 8 hours prior to your tandem skydive; we reserve the right to refuse service to clients we suspect to be intoxicated and no refund will be issued.

Scuba Diving:

Due to medical restrictions, you must not scuba dive 24 hours prior to skydiving.

Weight & Size Limits:

Weight and size limits are in place for the safety of the tandem passenger and Paragon Skydive staff members. Surcharges apply to certain weight limits, as outlined below. All persons are subject to Tandem Master assessment. Every tandem customer will be weighed prior to boarding the aircraft.

Please notify us before booking if you are above 95kg (210 pounds), your eligibility to jump is subject to our Tandem Instructors assessment and their own physical limitations.
Please note, there are variables that may reduce our maximum weight limit.

Restricted Limits and Associated surcharges:

  • Above 95kg (210 pounds) we cannot guarantee your booking until you go through a Tandem Instructors assessment.
  • Above 95kg (210 pounds) there is a surcharge of $35.00 USD
  • Above 104kg (230 pounds) there is a surcharge of $50.00 USD
  • Above 113 kg (250 pounds) are taken on a case by case basis and additional fees will be determined in each case. There is a low likelihood of being able to skydive when over 250 pounds due to higher risk factors for the customer and Tandem Instructor.

Customers of higher weights may experience some discomfort from the harness due to higher pressure on the same surface area. The harness used is approved for tandem skydiving and is not modifiable as per the manufacturers instructions for safe use. Customers with higher weights need to understand, recognize and accept the increased risk of discomfort from the harness and also possibly on landing.

Factors including, but not limited to, height, size and maneuverability affect your suitability to tandem skydive and Paragon Skydive retain the right to refuse service to any customer based on safety concerns even if you fall within the weight limits listed above.

Appropriate clothing and footwear:

You must come appropriately dressed for skydiving, closed toe flat footwear is ESSENTIAL, such as sport shoes, sneakers or similar suitable footwear. If you arrive without appropriate footwear you may be refused service and you will be charged the <48 hr cancellation fee.

Right to Cancel:

Paragon Skydive reserves the right to cancel any service at any time for any reason but especially for safety reasons, including, but not limited to; unsafe weather, mechanical issues, maintenance programs, equipment issues, staffing issues, airport or air traffic control delays.

Right to Refuse Service:

Paragon Skydive reserves the right to refuse service to any persons for any reason but especially for safety reasons. Any type of aggressive, racist, sexist or other harassing behavior is not conducive with safety of our customers or staff and could result in the skydive being cancelled without refund.

Booking Terms and Conditions:

To skydive all tandem customers must provide the required details, take part in all safety briefing and training. For identification and age verification it is Paragon Skydives policy to take each customers picture taken by our staff with your photo identification. This image will be stored alongside your signed documentation and will be subject to our privacy policy.

Paragon Skydive reserves the right to change prices at any time, however, all costs will remain the same as at the time of booking. At the time of booking, validity of various packages and offers should be confirmed as Paragon Skydive reserve the right to change without notice.

All bookings are given an ‘Arrival/Check in’ time only. Please note this is not a ‘skydive’ time. While Paragon Skydive will endeavor to complete an individual’s tandem skydive within 3 hours of arrival, Paragon Skydive advise you to arrive with no time constraints – you should plan for this to be a half day’s activity.

As safety is Paragon Skydives main concern, factors such as wind, cloud, rain, thermal turbulence etc. and other factors such as air traffic can affect the time it takes to complete your skydive activity. Weather can change for better or worse in minutes. Weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances can also require Paragon Skydive to alter the altitude of the skydive.

Although we aim to complete your skydive in the allotted time, please note that if the weather becomes unsafe to skydive we will cancel operations and attempt to reschedule your skydive. We understand this may be disappointing, however, we put the safety of our customers and staff above all else.

Paragon Skydive reserve the right to change aircraft type without notice. On occasion, these aircraft changes and Air Traffic Control (ATC) may require Paragon Skydive to change the required altitude and number of participants in a plane.

Paragon Skydive reserves the right to reschedule your skydive.

Booking Changes/Cancellations Policy:

  • Changes can be made to bookings for, date and time, but time limits and associated surcharges apply.
  • 24 hours prior notification – No charge, but requests to cancel or change, add, move or reschedule must be made in writing from the original booking email
  • 24 hours no changes can be made – but please ring us if there is an issue
  • The FULL PRICE of a skydive will be charged to no-shows, cancellations or change of mind within 24 hours. We cannot resell a booked space on our aircraft. Bookings may be transferred between persons at no charge.
  • Bookings which arrive later than 1 hour after their scheduled time will be rescheduled based on availability only and other customers will not be changed to re-accommodate. A late fee of $50 per person will be charged. We roster our staff based on the bookings made for each day so this charge goes towards covering our staff costs.
  • Bookings which arrive later than 3 hours after their scheduled time will be charged an additional $50 per person rescheduling fee.

These fees will be automatically charged to the credit or debit card used for booking.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions the person making the booking and the cardholder agree to the additional charges if the outlined conditions are met.

We sell third party transport, tour and hotel packages through named third party providers. Paragon Skydive is not responsible for any services provided by these third party companies. The customer agrees when booking a third party service that Paragon Skydive is not responsible for that service provided.

Any bookings made through us with third party companies are subject to those companies terms and conditions for booking, cancellation and any other stipulations. By agreeing to these terms and conditions the customer automatically accepts all the other third party companies terms and conditions. Paragon Skydive will endeavor to outline relevant terms and conditions to customers, but reviewing and accepting all is the responsibility of the customer.

Payment terms:

Paragon Skydive require your credit card details at time of booking to secure your purchase. Failure to give adequate notice of change to your booking or no shows will result in the credit card that was provided at the time of booking being charged in accordance with the booking changes and cancellation policy stated above. Gift certificates are prepaid and will be charged at the time of purchase. Gift Certificates are Non- Refundable, including for weather issues – if there is a weather issue at the time when you wish to use a Gift Certificate, you will be able to use the certificate at another time.

You will be refunded if your skydive is cancelled due weather or other safety related issues, out of the customers control, and raised by Paragon Skydive. We will work with you to re-book you for the next available time slot, or you may opt not to re-book in which case you will not be charged for the jump. In the cases where Paragon Skydive cancels for weather purposes the cancellation will only be at the time of your allotted skydive and not earlier. Request for flexibility in schedule or notification of possible bad weather due to a forecast is not a cancellation by Paragon Skydive. Forecasts can always change and are a best guess. If the customer chooses to cancel within the 24 hour period prior to the skydive or does not show for their allotted time, they will be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.

If you choose not to complete your skydive on the day you will be charged at the rates stipulated above under the booking changes and cancellation policy. If you take-off in the aircraft and for any reason choose not complete the skydive you will be charged the entire amount.

Group Booking Policy:

A group must all book together and jump on the same day. If there is more than one person tandem skydiving it is the group organizer’s responsibility to ensure everyone in the group understands and accepts the Paragon Skydive Terms and Conditions. Group booking organizers must assist Paragon Skydive by providing a group organizer contact and organizing individuals who wish to tandem skydive together.

Groups will be configured based on operational and safety requirements including, but not limited to; tandem instructors available, aircraft available, weight distribution and tandem instructors abilities. No refunds will be given if cancellations are made based on configurations.

Additions to group bookings are possible, but are subject to availability, and must be made prior to the booked jump day. While Paragon Skydive endeavors to keep groups in the same load, where possible, we reserve the right to change group configurations where necessary due to operational and safety requirements. No refunds will be made available if Paragon Skydive changes your group configuration.

Gift Voucher Terms:

All gift vouchers are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, but are transferable. If lost, gift vouchers will not be re-issued – please retain your e-gift voucher. Treat your voucher like cash and take care not to lose it. All gift vouchers purchased directly through Paragon Skydive will expire 24 months after purchase. If you intend to use a gift voucher you are still subject to the booking and cancellation policy.

Gift vouchers are not refundable due to weather or any other issues – if there is an issue the gift voucher amount will not be expended and can be used at another time within the validity period.

Remember to present your voucher on arrival to check-in as without it, you are unable to skydive. Where the cost of your experience is greater than the value of your voucher, you will be required to pay the difference. Where the cost of your experience is less than the value of your voucher you will not be entitled to a cash refund – and the difference will be presented in gift-voucher form.

Video and Photo Terms and Conditions:

Videos and photographs purchased through Paragon Skydive remain the copyright Paragon skydive Paragon Skydive own and retain the right to the footage and photographs. Such footage and or photos may be used by Paragon Skydive for company marketing purposes and reproduction of videos sold, and may only be used or reproduced by the purchaser or recipient for private or domestic purposes and must not be used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or any supplier’s products or services without Paragon Skydives prior permission in writing.

Should you not want any of your footage or photographs uploaded to Paragon Skydive social media platforms, or used in company marketing, it is your responsibility to advise staff prior to your jump.

Please be advised that should there be any technical issues relating to camera/dubbing equipment, no warranties can be made against the individual skydive as the filming and skydive are two separate products.

All Videos recorded through Paragon Skydive will be tested on the day of your tandem skydive. Videos are made available to all purchasers for viewing on that same day, should you wish to view it. Your acceptance of the Video on the day will be deemed as your approval of the Video being in full working order. No refunds will be made available after your departure from our offices.

Tandem Masters are filming in extreme conditions and malfunctions may occur from time to time. Issues of tandem passenger movement, focus, framing, moisture, vibration may result in video and photo content being inconsistent from passenger to passenger. Upon a total camera failure, with no usable footage being available from your skydive one of the following apply: – You are entitled to a FULL REFUND of your purchase price of your camera product only – You may choose to skydive again for the discount price offered at the drop zone – Your next camera product will be offered to you free of charge. No refunds will be given on the skydive itself if there is an issue with photos or videos, if the skydive experience was completed.
